Stuart Crawford-trained Karafon is one to note under JJ Slevin in this handicap chase from a mark of 125. The son of Karaktar must bounce back from a disappointing effort behind Anotherway at Down Royal in a rated race last month, but had previously finished a good second to subsequent winner Milcree when ahead of the likes of Jipcot and Young Jack.
Formerly trained by Willie Mullins, the gelding landed an 18-runner Clonmel maiden hurdle for Closutton and featured in a number of Graded races won by the likes of Romeo Coolio and Kopek Des Bordes. He's only a six-year-old making his fourth start over fences and there could be plenty of further improvement to come from him in only his 16th career start.
Karafon could prove worth keeping onside from a workable mark as he seeks a first win over the larger obstacles, making appeal in this field.

Four-year-old gelding Junkyard Dog hasn't been able to make a significant impression for Iain Jardine since leaving the Joseph O'Brien yard, but the four-year-old has shaped with potential in the past including when a decent third to to now 139-rated Minella Study in a Tipperary hurdling contest last summer.
The son of Fastnet Rock featured in maidens won by Galveston and Twain on the Flat as a two-year-old, before getting off the mark at Navan when beating Palmezzano in a field of 19 by half-a-length.
There's class in the family and, considering he has already shown some ability over obstacles, the youngster could be capable of posing a threat if he can improve on his previous efforts for his current yard.
Junkyard Dog is a horse to keep an eye on in future as he could turn out to be potentially well treated as he gains more experience and shows further progression. He shouldn't be discounted under William Maggs.

From a mark of 76 with Connor Planas claiming 3lb in the saddle, four-year-old filly Cressida Wildes makes appeal in this 5f sprint. She's only 2lb higher than her latest win which came at Yarmouth in July, when justifying 5/23.50 favouritism to beat Speed Of Maajid, and has been able to emerge with credit from races when rated 81 since.
The daughter of Showcasing, who is trained by Phil McEntee, should be capable of making her presence felt in this field. She has proven to possess plenty of ability on her day at this level, capable of posing a threat and putting in a bold bid as she seeks a third win of her career.

Hugo Palmer-trained The Flying Seagull remains unexposed as he returns from a 233-day break in this 6f sprint under 3lb claimer Zak Wheatley. He caught the eye on occasion as a juvenile, including when landing his maiden at Chester beating Blueandtangerine convincingly, and with placed efforts behind Teej A and Run Run Smart, too.
Last term as a three-year-old, The Flying Seagull failed to finish in front but often caught the eye in defeat. He finished a close third at odds of 25/126.00 in a Southwell handicap from his current mark of 78, before being narrowly denied from an unchanged rating in a subsequent Lingfield appearance.
Later in the term, he was able to defy odds of 22/123.00 to make the frame under Tom Marquand at Windsor, in a performance worth upgrading behind Arabian Sun when equipped with a first-time visor, which remains on.
There should be more to come from the four-year-old son of Kodiac, who has already proven his capabilities from this mark. He's a likeable type and, if ready on his return, should be able to make the frame once again.
