Sean Bowen rarely leaves Ayr without riding a winner, currently performing at a 48 percent win-rate at the Scottish track, and chasing debutant Jaccours is one of his most interesting mounts on the card.
The seven-year-old could potentially prove well treated from a mark of 115 in this handicap contest, if he takes well to this new challenge for Olly Murphy. He has shaped with promise over hurdles previously, getting off the mark at Ffos Las in his latest run last month, having put in promising efforts behind the likes of The Kemble Brewery, Jurancon, Reallyntruthfully, and now 135-rated Crest Of Fortune.
His sire Gris De Gris has produced a number of talented chasers and his dam, Ty Perrine, a sister to winning chaser Mimisky, recorded her sole success over fences in an Argentan chase, which bodes well for his chances of enjoying this new assignment.

Green Hope provided a shock when landing the spoils at huge odds of 125/1126.00 under Danny Mullins at Down Royal when last seen. He was a first winner for his trainer Ross Crawford, defying a massive price to prevail in his second hurdling start.
The form of the race was franked on Sunday with runner-up Star Of The Week, who is a promising prospect for Arthur Moore, claiming his first career success at Naas.
The five-year-old gelding is unexposed and has already got off the mark, bidding for successive wins. JJ Slevin takes the ride aboard the son of Telescope, and he can double up in the double green, capable of proving too good for his rivals in this novice event.

Patrick Griffin doesn't often saddle runners at Ayr, but is represented by intriguing contender Go Frankie, the outsider of the field, in the penultimate race on Monday's card.
The nine-year-old, who is lightly raced, has mostly been seen in the point-to-point sphere, winning once at Boulta in November 2024. On that occasion for Peter Croke, the son of Milan beat Cosmic Blizzard, a now 107-rated chaser for Lucinda Russell and Michael Scudamore, who was narrowly denied at Kelso by subsequent winner Diamond Dealer, now on a mark of 117.
There's substance to that form and there could be more to come from Go Frankie, may find more luck in handicap company after an unsuccessful appearance in maiden company at Fairyhouse last month. He's entitled to improve for his most recent run, when returning from a 323-day break, and, in only his third run for the yard, his fifth career start over hurdles, he may be able to fare better than his price suggests.
Harry Sexton claims 7lb aboard the 97-rated contender, who is equipped with first-time cheekpieces, and, with the addition of headgear, further improvement is possible.
