Cheltenham - 13:15: Back Theonewedreamof @ 11/26.50
Close with last weekend's Saturday treble as Kijiko and O'Connell delivered for two legs of the three, so of course the red-hot odds-on favourite let the side down in Sober Glory. That'll teach me with odds-on bankers so to speak.
Saturday at Cheltenham we get the chance to back an in-form Dan Skelton mare in Theonewedreamof and she arrives into this race with a comfortable success at Exeter.
That was just her second outing for Skelton after what looked a sighter at Chepstow previous, and she improved greatly for a trip and soft conditions.
I don't think she'll have an issue back down to 2m4f and clearly some rain would be most welcome, but Skelton has had the most winners at Cheltenham this term with six (from 34 runners at 17%) and I can see her being a big player in a mares' only race.

Cheltenham - 14:25: Back Excelero @ 7/24.50
Excelero jumped for fun last time winning at Warwick with a most pleasing display, and I am looking forward to seeing Jane Williams' chaser go up in class for Saturday.
The Cheltenham fences shouldn't present a problem to this rookie chaser who had a real verve with the way he attacked his fences last time. Yes, a bit keen, but he was constantly pressuring his rivals from the front and another front-running display is on the cards here.
It could be a good sight with Excelero and the favourite David's Well out in front, as both jump well and both will be up there.
However, preference is for the Williams' inmate who was a reasonable novice hurdler but already looks a superior chaser and should be able to improve on is 128 rating.
Williams has had three runners this week from Kelso on Sunday - with two winners and a second.

Cheltenham 15:00: Back Conman John @ 6/52.20
The shortest of the trio for the Saturday treble but Conman John has impressed me with both runs this term and is ready to take higher order for Lucinda Russell.
Clearly well regarded ahead of his debut sent of 4/11 at Kelso in October, he wasn't brilliant or spectacular, but was given a nice introduction before improving greatly at Cheltenham last month and up in distance.
He stayed ever so strongly up the hill and looks made for going left-handed. He might improve with softer conditions too and is worthy candidate for Albert Bartlett thoughts now, and these trial races minus the Irish big guns are often very winnable affairs.
