Alan Dudman has three bets for this weekend in his latest Antepost preview
Haydock's Peter Marsh card on Saturday comes with rain this week attached, which is certainly good news for Mr Vango and his backers, and some interesting entries are headed by former Betfair Chase winner Royal Pagaille, who as a 12-year-old will carry all the weight with his mammoth rating of 159.
For him, it isn't quite "Abandon hope all ye who enter here" but you'd certainly want Venetia Williams is some kind of form too.
It leads me to Myretown, the brilliant Ultima winner from the Festival and a horse still on the young side with six runs over fences despite being a nine-year-old.
Now, there's a caveat here once again with stable form as on Tuesday morning, the Russell and Scudamore training duo were 20 runners without a winner in 14 days - a depressingly opposite view of the dazzling numbers of some.
Is it enough to put me off backing him? Not quite, and I am hoping the Kinross pair can get something on the board at Ayr on Tuesday.
Myretown is a 4/15.00 chance on the Betfair Sportsbook and will need a clear round here after his fall at the ninth in the Coral Gold Cup at Newbury.
Pre-match Newbury quotes from Russell were quite bullish in November, saying: "He's got to go and take another step forward now but there's plenty of reasons to believe he can do that. He's still pretty young, still lightly raced and you hope that he is still improving."
And that's key here, he could still be improving and from a mark of 142, that is too attractive on his form of last term. A winner in soft at Kelso, with his Festival success on good to soft (as ever at Cheltenham), I don't have any issues regarding the surface and he's a horse that can find a rhythm from the front as he likes to dominate.
After all, he blitzed that Ultima field from the front and he can assert early here.

French Ship somewhat let the side down in the Lanzarote on Saturday as one of my antepost tips, and the Philip Hobbs' hurdler disappointed.
Hobbs and White have an interesting contender here in the JP McManus green and gold livery with Solar System at a big price 10/111.00 on the Sportsbook.
The seven-year-old won back-to-back over hurdles last winter at Haydock (2m5f and Ludlow 2m5f) but then failed at Newbury soon afterwards and his final run in the spring at Bangor saw him make a catastrophic mistake late on to ruin any sort of chance of winning.
He is double-entered with an entry at Wincanton later this week so it could be scuppered before we've even had a chance to look, but he shaped very much like a horse what wants this sort of test (3m for Saturday) with his win from last winter at Haydock.
In that, he came from off the pace and was involved in a scrap against I Am Max all the way to the line, he prevailed just, and the front two were a long way clear of the third. Solar System was the one who fared best from being held up and his jumping was very nimble over the final two hurdles, unlike some of Hobbs' hurdlers.
A mark of 117 with a return to Haydock should hopefully bring out some more improvement at an each-way price.

Can Vincenzo finally get his head in front?
Poor Vincenzo, denied by Booster Bob in agonising fashion in the Greatwood Gold Cup, denied by Panic Attack in the Paddy Power Gold Cup and once again, denied by Glengouly in the Decemeber Gold Cup.
From 15 runs, his six seconds and three thirds looks one of an unlucky horse suggests a profile of a horse that perhaps doesn't want it or is weak under pressure. He is neither and certainly in the case of bumping into Panic Attack, a touch unlucky.
I've been with him this season and while he has crept up in the weights to 140, there's still a nice chasing prize in him and this, while a tricky assignment has a few horses you would fancy your chances against.
Two miles and five on good to soft ground won't be an issue and there's no double entry either. Sam Thomas is 10-24 at 42% with his chasers this season and I am backing Vincenzo for one last shot at glory.
