Timeform's Andrew Asquith highlights a NAP, Next Best and Each-Way selection at Wolverhampton on Monday.
"...looks to have been found another excellent opportunity to follow up..."
NAP: Ghostly strongly fancied to follow up
Ghostly - 17:55 Wolverhampton
This race won't take much winning and it is incredibly hard to get away from the claims of Ghostly, who bolted up at Hamilton five days ago, and escapes a penalty for that success due to the conditions of the race. He gained reward for several consistent efforts in recent weeks in what admittedly was a thin handicap, powering away from his rivals in the closing stages. Ghostly is a two-time winner at this course and looks to have been found another excellent opportunity to follow up.
NEXT BEST: Crush And Run can gain compensation
Crush And Run - 19:25 Wolverhampton
Crush And Run got off the mark under a no-nonsense ride at Lingfield earlier this year and he has shaped well in handicaps since, especially when beaten narrowly in fourth at Bath last time. He looked unlucky not to win on that occasion, not getting the breaks when needed and running on late when switched inside the final furlong. He is drawn widest of all here, but he looks well treated able to race from the same mark, and should prove hard to beat if getting the breaks.
NEXT BEST: Macon Belle looks well treated
Macon Belle - 18:25 Wolverhampton
Hollie Doyle arrives fresh from her first Classic success in the French Oaks and she has a good chance on Macon Belle here. She remains a maiden, but she continues to fall in the weights after three runs over five furlongs, where she has been giving the impression a return to six furlongs will suit. She was beaten a nose on her sole start over course and distance and provided she gets the breaks from stall 11, she should be competitive in a race like this.
