"He is just 1 lb higher now and appears to be coming to the boil nicely, so is a horse to remain positive about..."
Timeform's Andrew Asquith highlights a Nap, Next Best and Each-Way selection at Windsor on Monday.
NAP
Spoof - 15:45 Windsor
Spoof is a two-time winner over course and distance and he has returned in good form this season. He was beaten a head on his reappearance at Doncaster earlier this month, comfortably beating all but a fast-finishing rival, and he confirmed his return to form when again only narrowly denied at Yarmouth nine days ago.
Spoof looked an unlucky loser on that occasion, travelling best but not getting a clear run entering the final furlong, and staying on best of all once in the clear. He is just 1 lb higher now and appears to be coming to the boil nicely, so is a horse to remain positive about.
NEXT BEST
Sunset Point - 15:10 Windsor
Sunset Point was given a considerate introduction at Kempton in October and she built on that experience as expected when showing better form in a stronger race upped to a mile at the same track the following month.
She didn't need to improve, but put her experience to good use when opening her account at Lingfield later in November, getting the gaps at the right time and displaying a good turn of foot to put the race to bed. There should be even more to come from Sunset Point now she is sent handicapping over an extra two furlongs and she can prove this mark a lenient one.
