#8 Hot Money - Greyville R6 (14:30)
Hot Money backed up her maiden win with a very good third at this venue last month, doing well on her first start in handicap company. She disappointed in what was arguably a better race than she needed to contest last time, and she should be capable of making amends now returned to calmer waters. Class Of Eight looks the pick for second, while Passivity makes up the shortlist.
#5 Stopalltheclocks - Greyville R7 (15:05)
Stopalltheclocks has been running in much better races than this of late, and running creditably, notably when runner-up at listed level three starts back. He sets the standard in this field and is very much the one to beat on these terms. Brass Bell has been running consistently well recently and could represent the main danger, while Perfect Peter can win the battle for third.
#6 Sofia Erin - Greyville R8 (15:40)
Sofia Erin created such a good impression on winning her maiden back in February she was immediately stepped up to graded company upon the resumption of racing. She failed to create much of an impression on her two outings at that level, but she has bounced back to her best with a couple of runner-up finishes at Scottsville recently. She looks well handicapped on the evidence of those efforts and shouldn't be long in regaining the winning thread. Solar Flare got off the mark for the season at Greyville last time and deserves plenty of respect in her follow-up bid, as does Hopskipandjump, who has won three of her four races since the enforced break.
