Such A Whit came back much improved for a new yard when winning the CL2 comfortably. There could be even more to come from him and he looks the one to beat again. Applicant arrives in search of a hat-trick and is feared most, ahead of Elegant Zous.

#6 Finucane Missile - Rockhampton R6 (07:45 BST)

Finucane Missile went to Mackay looking to make it four in a row but a slow start put him on the back foot. He is worth another chance with that in mind returned to his favourite track. Red Satin won the Open 3 three starts ago and has been knocking on the door since, while Svindal is another to consider.

#3 Charles Seven - Rockhampton R7 (08:20 BST)

Charles Seven is a former Godolphin inmate who made a winning start for new connections. He was then heavily-bet again but found one to good over this trip last time, and he sets the standard on form. Nailed It Nan has won a trial and has more to give, while Stepped In Paint also commands respect.
