Today's Horse Racing Tips: Jonjo O'Neill's charge is of a nice mark at Bangor

Alan Thompson has two runners on Tuesday, one from the jumps card at Bangor and the other on the flat at Catterick.
"He won off a mark 6lbs higher than today and one thing he won't lack is stamina on this rain softened ground"
Back His Dream @ 2/1 in the 14:05 Bangor
There is an obvious selection in this race and it is Gray Day trained by Donald McCain ridden by his daughter Miss Abbie McCain, who takes a handy 5lbs off his back, running in the Donald McCain Racing Handicap Hurdle. However the course and distance winner's career is littered with layoffs and despite a promising return last time out, I think the family outing could be spoiled by Jonjo O'Neill's seven-year-old Yeats gelding His Dream.
It's fair to say he also has somewhat of a patchy profile, however on his day he is very good and he has posted two very solid efforts on the bounce since the restart of racing, most recently when third at Southwell last time out. His last win was May last year when he won off a mark 6lbs higher than today and one thing he won't lack is stamina on this rain softened ground as he can go further than today's near three mile trip. The blinkers are refitted here and with the yard in good form at present, he is a dangerous player off this mark.
Golden Hind looks to have a good chance of breaking her maiden tag
Back Golden Hind @ 11/4 in the 14:55 Catterick
It's time Golden Hind got her head in front and finally break her maiden tag. She finished second on her first two starts and was unfortunate to bump into the Queens impressive 100 rated Award Scheme when making her handicap debut at York in a highly competitive contest last time out. However, she is now three pounds lower and drops significantly in grade for today's assignment. Stepping up to 12 furlongs looks a good move and should unlock further improvement from the David O'Meara three-year-old filly who runs in the famous Sir Robert Ogden silks.
Of the other runners Cold Light Of Day runs for the Michael Dods team but I don't think will get the trip, the obvious danger though is the favourite Deft who is another unexposed type stepping up in trip for Ralph Beckett. The filly has raced keenly in her previous races and if she does that again today its hard to see her getting home ahead of Golden Hind.
