#6 Whipping Boy - Turffontein R6 (14:20)

Whipping Boy has been knocking on the door of late, inlcuding when edged out by a nose at the Vaal last time. He looks weighted to go well and is expected to be bang there. Shortstop looks the pick of the remainder, while After Hours also demands a second look.

#2 Holy Man - Turffontein R7 (14:55)

Holy Man has been progressing with each run of late, regaining the winning thread at the Vaal earlier this month, before backing that up with a very good third over this course and distance nine days ago. A repeat of that performance should see him go very close once again. Rock Of Africa has been running well in defeat since the resumption and could be the one to chase home the selection, while Putins Promise also deserves a mention.

#6 Gemcutter - Turffontein R8 (15:30)

Gemcutter has been in good form since the resumption, picking up his second win from three races at Scottsville last time, getting the better of a next-time-out winner. He is up just 2 lb for that victory and gets the vote to continue his upward momentum. Phinda Mzala didn't need to be at her best to break her maiden las time and could have yet more to offer, while Palace Assembly makes up the shortlist.
