Thirsk Nap - 16:54 - Back New Image
New Image seemingly hasn't been the easiest to train, but he has made an excellent start for these connections, defying an 18-month absence when making a winning start over five furlongs at Southwell, and getting back on the up returned to that venue over seven furlongs last time. There was plenty to like about that performance and he remains a horse to keep on the right side back on turf following a 4 lb rise.

Thirsk Next Best - 14:00 - Back Mademoiselle
Most of these are making their debut, so the market will likely reveal plenty, but Mademoiselle is entitled to improve for her first run which came in a valuable novice event at Newmarket 13 days ago. She showed plenty of ability but left the impression she would come on for the run both fitness and experience wise and it will likely take an above-average newcomer to beat her.
