Taunton NAP - 15:20 - Back Concrete King
Concrete King attracted strong support when tried in a tongue strap at Southwell a couple of weeks ago, but he wasn't seen to best effect on the day, doing well under the circumstances to be beaten just a length having been given an excessively patient ride.
Lining up here from the same mark, Concrete King should be capable of winning a race of this nature when everything falls right and today could be the day for him to finally open his account under Rules.
Taunton Next Best - 13:35 - Back Hard Frost
Hard Frost has been expensive to follow since joining Harry Derham, having to settle for the runner-up spot in four of his eight starts, including on his return to action at Market Rasen a few weeks ago.
Still, he remains unexposed as a chaser after just four starts in this sphere and a BHA mark of 88 is clearly workable judged on the pick of his efforts, only 2 lb higher than when beaten a whisker in a similar event at Wincanton in April.
