#1 Gee Gee Secondover - Devonport R8 (06:05)

Gee Gee Secondover finished strongly to end up midfield at Flemington last start and this has to be viewed as an easier task. He often comes quickly to hand and has a good record at this track, and a repeat of his latest effort should see him difficult to hold out. Ruettiger and Cranbrook are both consistent performers and should give the selection the most to think about.

#1 Braccenby - Devonport R9 (06:45)

Braccenby finished the best to get up late in the day here two starts back and wasn't seen to best effect when sixth over this course and distance last time. He does like to come from the back, so his fate is in the lap of the gods to some extent, but his record at this venue is a good one and he is the one to be on provided things go his way. Manilenya could be the one to profit should the selection not get the passage he needs, while Ethical Dilemma also warrants consideration.

#10 Sh'bourne Rebel - Devonport R10 (07:25)

Sh'bourne Rebel came with a late charge to get his head in front over this course and distance last month, and has trialled and won since then. He is improving with each start and gets the vote to continue his momentum, with Tessie and Gee Gee Lanett the two most likely to fill the places.
