Majed was a €210,000 purchase at the breeze-ups last year and he showed plenty to work on in a newcomers' event at Leicester in September.

He wasn't in the same form at Lingfield next time, but he opened his account with something to spare fitted with first-time cheekpieces at Wolverhampton in November.

Majed beat a well-fancied Godolphin newcomer on that occasion who won next-time-out, so the form has a solid look to it, and he should be well suited by this step up in trip now making his handicap debut from what looks a potentially lenient mark.

David's Diva arrives in cracking form having completed a hat-trick over seven furlongs at Wolverhampton 10 days ago, and she did especially well as she had to overcome the widest draw.

She took a keen hold in the early stages and started to make good headway out wide on the home turn, keeping on well in the straight to lead in the final strides.

A subsequent 2 lb rise is fair enough and, with this return to a mile likely to suit, the four-timer is very much on the cards.
