Last week's treble threw up a single winner with Kijiko at Cheltenham, who returned a decent BSP of 7.6, but Jubilee Express rather rather let the side down despite Sam Thomas' tremendous strike-rate. We are going for a double on Saturday, and a double nice and early against the cold.
Dan Skelton's big guns are coming up a little later in the afternoon but just after midday it will be interesting to see how his Double Measure fares in the face of drifting in the betting on Friday.
He'd gone from 5/23.50 to 11/43.75 and then 3/14.00, and that is too tempting in opposition to the favourite Masked Man.
Double Measure looked a horse with a future winning his Bumper at Uttoxeter last spring, coming from off the pace to win easily on good ground and stilll looks a horse with a future.
His comeback run for the season came at Chepstow 17 days ago, and shaped well despite being weak in the market. The pair were 25L clear in that race and Skelton opts for tackling a Grade 2 here rather than stick to a straightforward maiden.
There were a few holes to pick from Harry on board that day, as he appeared to be caught napping when Sean Bowen made his move to attack three from home on the eventual winner, and then Skelton came off the rail and got in close to the last. He was still lobbing along, though, going into the straight and traded at 2.111/10 in-running.
With the way he travelled, he is a big price for Saturday.

A two-time winner of the Ladbrokes 1965b Chase, Paul Nicholls' Pic D'orhy hopefully can build on a comeback run at Wetherby in the Charlie Hall.
Nicholls, in his exclusive Betfair blog, thought that he might have had a hard race in Yorkshire but said: "He loves Ascot, it is a small field and he looks fresh and well. So we are happy for him to run in a race he won last year. We will let him take his chance. Having had a run won't do him any harm."
Il Est Francais might have bigger targets down the line but he was very weak on the Sportsbook on Friday and he is a horse who didn't quite have his brilliance at Kempton over Christmas last year. Now with Tom George, this could be a prep for Boxing Day for the new yard.
That's the thinking with Jango Baie too, who was a remarkable if lucky winner of the Arkle last term and for a comeback run 2m5f with a wind op, I'd rather give him the swerve.
Pic D'orhy is such a good jumper around here and without rain his chances will be aided as a prime horse for today rather than the other targets down the line perhaps for others.
