I am going to side with Chocolate Bar in this $75k maiden claimer on the turf.

This Cairo Prince colt was a little disappointing when finishing down the field in a competitive Maiden Special Weight on the turf at Keenland last month. He was in trouble half a mile from home, and finished well beaten. He ran as if something was amiss, and this run is best forgotten. He is best judged on his previous race when finishing a close fourth in a similar contest at Churchill Downs. Trainer Mike Maker drops him in class, and dispenses with the blinkers. Maker is having a cracking meeting and has a 27% strike rate with horses dropping to maiden claiming. He should be a decent price, so recommend backing him at BSP.

Thoughtfully is my idea of the winner of this fascinating Grade 2 on the main track.

This well related daughter of Tapit was most impressive on debut when thrashing Prodigy Doll at Churchill Downs in June. She hit the front at the entrance to the straight, and pulled clear to win with any amount in hand. She is out of the Seeking the Gold mare Pension, who is the Dam of Grade 2 winner Annual Report and Stakes winner Payday. I think she is open to significant improvement, and has a bright future ahead of her. This is a lot tougher, but I believe she is up to the task. At present she is trading at 3.613/5 on the exchange and have backed her at that price.
