Yaupon is my idea of the winner on this fascinating Grade 2 on the main track.

This Uncle Mo colt was most impressive when winning an allowance race over this course last month. He made all the running and was allowed to coast home inside the final furlong to win with complete authority.

This was one of the best performances of the meeting in my opinion. I think he has a lot more to offer, and can make the transition in to Graded Stakes company. Joel Rosario will probably ride him from the front again and has been in fine form at the meeting. I recommend backing him at BSP.

Sadler's Joy to make amends

Race 9 22:43 Saratoga - Sadler's Joy

Sadler's Joy should go close in this mouthwatering Grade 1 over one and a half miles on the turf.

This seven-year-old was unlucky to be disqualified when crossing the line in first place in the Bowling Green over this course last month. He ran on strongly in the closing stages, but impeded two beaten rivals in the process and was subsequently taken down. He has some excellent form over this distance and was narrowly beaten in this race last year.

Trainer Thomas Albertrani certainly deserves a change of fortune, and this likeable individual should go one better this year. This is a tough race so recommend backing him at BSP.
