I am going to take a chance with Our Super Freak in this interesting Grade 3 on the main track.

This filly put in a much-improved effort when finishing second to Horologist in the Grade 3 Molly Pitcher at Monmouth Park last month. She was taken on for the lead throughout, but still looked the likely winner inside the final furlong before tiring near the line. This was not a fluke and should give a good account of herself today.

Trainer Cherie DeVaux has done a wonderful job with her since taking over from Jamie Ness at the beginning of the year. She should be a nice price so recommend backing her at BSP.

Modern Science the logical choice

Race 10 23:18 Saratoga - Modern Science

Modern Science should go close in this Maiden Special Weight on the turf course.

This well related son of Galileo finished a close second in a similar event over this course earlier this month. He took the lead inside the final furlong, but could not hold the strong challenge from the winner close home. The official going on the turf course was soft yesterday due to heavy rain. The underfoot conditions will play in his favour as he has plenty of stamina in the pedigree. I am expecting an improved effort and recommend backing him at BSP.
