This colt finished eighth against similar over this course last month. He tried to deliver a challenge in the straight, but met interference and had to steady. He was not beaten all that far, and would have finished closer with a clear run. He has some solid form in Maiden Special Weight company, which reads well in the context of this race. Trainer George Weaver has had a tough time at the meeting, but I think Boom Boom Kaboom will give him a welcome winner. He should be a fair price, so recommend backing him at BSP.
