Miss Amulet - 14:25 Newmarket

The unbeaten Dandalla has been popular in the betting in the lead up to this, but the form of last month's Lowther Stakes at York, where Miss Amulet won from Sacred and Umm Kulthum, looks the best on offer. That was Miss Amulet's first start at six furlongs, and she seemed to relish it, taking her form to another level and always holding off the challenge of the strong-travelling Sacred. There doesn't appear to be many chinks in her armour and another bold bid is expected.

Method - 15:00 Newmarket

A fascinating race featuring some of the most exciting two-year-olds in training, but Method could hardly have created a more striking impact on his two starts and there's substance to go with style, both in the form book and on the clock. Minzaal looked a colt of serious potential when taking the Gimcrack at York, while Lucky Vega's success in the Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh is the best form on offer.

Tempus - 15:35 Newmarket

Another Cambridgeshire where the 'Group horse in a handicap' premise likely very much rings true in the form of Tempus. He's improved in fine style this year, winning a good handicap at Ascot very easily three weeks ago, and he looks smart at least. His draw and step up in trip are both positives and he's hard to get away from in what is admittedly another competitive renewal. His owner's Derevo, who has been unlucky not to win so far this season, looks a big threat, as do Good Birthday and Ilaraab.
