"...there is reason to think he has more to offer now back on the all-weather where he has a good record..."
Timeform's Andrew Asquith highlights a Nap and Next Best selection at Newcastle on Monday.
NAP: Bearwith has more to offer
Bearwith - 16:10 Newcastle
Bearwith is a two-time winner this season and he left the impression he may not have finished yet when third over this trip at Redcar last time. He shaped better than the bare result on that occasion, the pair that beat him, as well as the fourth, all prominent early on the rail whereas he was caught further back and away from the inside. He still held every chance two furlongs out, though, and wasn't given too much of a hard time, so there is reason to think he has more to offer now back on the all-weather where he has a good record.
NEXT BEST: Inexplicable can follow up
Inexplicable - 19:30 Newcastle
Inexplicable goes particularly well at Wolverhampton and he resumed winning ways over the extended mile there three weeks ago, travelling fluently and quickening clear in the straight to score in ready fashion. That was just a basement grade handicap but it was run at a sound gallop and the timefigure was good for the level, so it may be worth taking a positive view on his performance. A subsequent 5 lb rise leaves him fairly treated on the pick of his form and he can launch another bold bid.
