#4 Dolphin - Fairview R5 (11:40)

Dolphin showed much improved form to open his account for the season at this venue in August, doing well to get the better of two subsequent winners, and he proved himself still in good form when third under the same conditions last time, running almost as well in defeat. He can race from the same mark here and makes plenty of appeal on these terms. Di Me looks the pick of the remainder, while Bockscar is also worthy of consideration.

#6 Mendocino - Fairview R7 (13:00)

Mendocino is winless this campaign, but she has been running well and is potentially unfortunate not to have landed at least one victory this season. She found just one too good on three successive occasions in August and September, and a repeat of either of those efforts should see her go very close to regaining the winning thread. Captain's Princess gets the vote for second, while Carioca can win the battle for third.

#2 Nippy Sweetie - Fairview R8 (13:35)

Nippy Sweetie is unbeaten in her last four races, including when producing a career best to land the odds over this course and distance last time, and with further improvement potentially still in the pipeline, she gets the vote to bring up the five-timer. Sao Paulo may be the one to chase her home, while Tawny Jet also makes a little each-way appeal.
