Movie King belatedly opened his account over hurdles in a handicap at Down Royal in June and he has shaped well on a number of occasions since.

He caught the eye back over fences at Punchestown last month, leaving the impression he would have finished closer if asked for his effort earlier than he was.

This jockey knows him well and, now in a race which probably isn't as competitive as he used to running in, he is expected to go close for a shrewd Irish trainer.

Ludlow Next Best - 13:40 - Back Braganza Bay

Braganza Bay was a dual winner over hurdles, but he bettered that form immediately when making a winning start over fences at Hereford last month.

He won with plenty in hand on that occasion, too, not fluent at a couple of his fences, but produced to lead at the last and quickening clear in good style on the run-in.

This race will demand more of him, but there should be more to come, and a subsequent 7 lb rise seems fair.
