Timeform's Andrew Asquith highlights a Nap, Next Best and Each-Way selection at Lingfield on Tuesday.
"...he is drawn well with William Buick back in the saddle..."
NAP: A good opportunity for Princeville
Princeville - 15:20 Lingfield
Princeville looked inexperienced when runner-up on his debut at Yarmouth in June but he built on that experience as expected when going one place better dropped to five furlongs the following month, proving too strong for one who has progressed well since. He was gelded afterwards, but was unable to land short odds at Wolverhampton last time, lacking the pace to go with the winner. There should be more to come from him now handicapping, though, from what looks a fair mark, and he is drawn well with William Buick back in the saddle.
NEXT BEST: Wholeofthemoon can open his account
Wholeofthemoon - 17:03 Lingfield
Wholeofthemoon showed much improved form on his return at Kempton in March when runner-up to an above-average sort but he hasn't progressed as expected in handicaps so far. Both of those runs have come over a mile and a half at Doncaster and he didn't appear to get home on his latest start behind a progressive sort. The drop to a mile and a quarter will be in his favour now, as will a return to an artificial surface, and he still looks well treated on the pick of his form.
EACH-WAY: Field of Honour has more to offer
Field of Honour - 13:35 Lingfield
Field of Honour showed ability in his first three starts but improved further to open his account on handicap debut at Brighton last month, responding well to more forceful riding tactics and proving more straightforward than previously. That wasn't the strongest race but there should be more to come from him now he's up and running and he has fared well with the draw, so he has a fair chance at the prices.
