Darmoiselle is from a family that connections know well - she is a sister to high-class two-year-old Too Darn Hot and very smart pair Lah Ti Dar and So Mi Dar - and she looks the part, too. She was too green to show anything when behind stablemate Emily Upjohn on debut at Sandown but built on that experience when opening her account at Haydock in May. She beat another stablemate and subsequent Park Hill Stakes winner on that occasion but she looked rusty and inexperienced in a Group 3 at Newmarket earlier this month. That was her first start for four months, though, and she is expected to have come forward from that run now. Darmoiselle shapes like she'll stay this trip and remains with plenty of potential.

NAP: International Angel the one to side with

Internationalangel - 16:00 Lingfield

Internationalangel has a terrific record on the all-weather, displaying her class when completing a six-timer in a useful handicap from a BHA mark of 92 with plenty up her sleeve at Newcastle in February. She has run some cracking races in defeat in some stronger races than this since and this looks like a good opportunity for her to resume winning ways. All of her best form has come over seven furlongs but a mile round here shouldn't pose a problem and she has fared well with the draw. A big run is expected.
