The Gill Brothers - 18:30 Kempton
This is a competitive handicap, but The Gill Brothers makes plenty of appeal back on the all-weather. He was a good winner over course and distance earlier in the year and his latest run back on turf at Sandown wasn't devoid of promise, again racing keenly and wanting a stronger gallop. There should be plenty of pace on here for him, with the likes of Artistic Rifles, Golden Force and Variyann all likely to be vying for the lead, and The Gill Brothers remains a horse to keep on the right side.
Master of The Stars - 19:00 Kempton
This looks more competitive than the numbers suggest, but it was hard not to be taken by Master of The Stars at Chelmsford last time, shaping well but just running out of steam having endured a wide trip throughout. That was a solid enough race for the grade, and the form looks solid, so Master of The Stars is worth viewing in a positive light moving forward, and the booking of Oisin Murphy could be a sign of intent.
War Empress - 20:30 Kempton
An open look to this concluding staying handicap, but War Empress could be sharper for her recent comeback run over course and distance and looks well handicapped at present. She remains a maiden, but her consistency is hard to knock, and she did well to finish as close as she did last time from a poor position. This race looks less competitive and she will be hard to keep out of the frame if coming on for her latest run.
