A Kempton Nap, Next Best and Each-Way selection from Timeform
Kempton Nap - 17:30 - Back Los Toldos
Charlie Appleby and William Buick have a couple of good chances on the card including with Los Toldos in this novice.
A son of Frankel who cost 750,000 guineas as a yearling, Los Toldos shaped well on his debut in a similar event at Wolverhampton earlier this month when he was the lesser fancied of his stable's two newcomers but fared the better of the Godolphin pair.
He showed plenty to work on in finishing a staying-on second to another debutant, Forest Fairy, who looked something out of the ordinary in winning by six lengths, and he can go one better with that run under his belt.
Kempton Next Best - 18:30 - Back Cephalus
Cephalus has done all his winning on the all-weather and was successful for the fifth time in all, but registering a first victory for his current trainer Gary Moore, when landing a big gamble at Lingfield in December having dropped a long way in the weights.
He's been narrowly beaten on both his outings this year but ran well in a first-time visor over tonight's course and distance last time when going down by a neck to Green Power who has won again since.
He travelled strongly before weaving his way through to lead in the final furlong and, while he was headed close home, he pulled clear of the rest. He can get his head back in front again this time.
Kempton Each Way - 20:00 - Back Sao Timothy
Top weight Largo Bay looks set for a bold bid to complete a hat-trick but at the other end of the weights Robert Stephens' runner Sao Timothy can go well at longer odds.
A free-going sort who wears a hood nowadays, Sao Timothy hasn't had too many chances over middle-distances and showed some improvement at Wolverhampton last week in a classified stakes when running on to take second in the last 50 yards behind Bella Bluesky who's thriving at a low level.
A repeat of that should see Sao Timothy thereabouts again.
