King's Threshold showed improved form when opening his account on handicap debut at Exeter last month, overcoming some early mistakes and as expected, relishing the extra emphasis on stamina.

He now steps up to three miles for the first time, which should bring about further improvement, and he is a horse to remain positive about following a 4 lb rise in the weights.

Queens Rock finished runner-up in her only start in Irish points and she showed plenty of ability on her Rules debut when runner-up in a bumper at Ffos Las around this time last year.

She made a winning start over hurdles after seven months off at Southwell in November and she made a mockery of her opening mark at Doncaster in February, scoring with the minimum of fuss on her first start since undergoing a breathing operation. The handicapper has hit her with an 11 lb rise but that may not be enough to prevent her following up.
