Longchamp racecourse near Paris
The Arc is at 15:05 on Sunday

Gary O'Brien, Kevin Blake and Betfair's Ryan McCue bring up the half-century of Racing Only...Bettor podcasts as the Arc takes centre stage at Longchamp this weekend.

15:05 - Prix De L'Arc De Triomphe

Kevin: "Raabihah is the one that I have landed on. She ran very well in the French Oaks earlier in the season. I don’t know if she will handle the ground, but I think she is a big price and I’ll take a chance with her."

Listen to the podcast and read the summary of the team's bets below.

Sunday - Longchamp

Prix De L'Arc De Triomphe

Ryan: "I don't think Enable is bombproof at all. Serpentine ran a good race at Longchamp last time out. He is drawn wide, which is a concern, but I think he can run a very big race."

Kevin: "This is a deep and a fascinating race. Enable is the one that I want to win, given the chance in front of her to win three Arc's and I'm sure she will go well. In Swoop, who won the German Derby, looks a dour stayer and you have to like his run behind Mogul last time. Heavy ground won't be a problem and he'll be hitting the line strong.

"Raabihah is the one that I have landed on. She ran very well in the French Oaks earlier in the season. I don't know if she will handle the ground, but I think she is a big price and I'll take a chance with her."

Prix De l'Abbaye

Ryan: "Make A Challenge is interesting here. He was drawn on the wrong side at The Curragh last time and I would rather back him at 5/1 than Battaash at 5/4."

Kevin: "Battaash should be an odds-on shot and I'm hoping that he will drift out to a backable price come Sunday afternoon."

Prix du Cadran

Ryan: "I would be surprised if Princess Zoe can win here. Call The Wind is the favourite and you know what you're going to get with that horse."

Newmarket - Saturday

14:10 - EBF Premier Handicap

Ryan: "The one I like is Oti Ma Boati. She looked to handle the soft conditions at Goodwood and I think she will go very close here."

Kevin: "Wondrous Words jumped out for me. You would think that the track and conditions should suit here and this filly will relish the soft going."

14:45 - Kingdom of Bahrain Sun Chariot Stakes

Kevin: "This is a fascinating race with the top two in the betting meeting again after the Matron Stakes at Leopardstown. I don't think the ground will be an issue for Peaceful, I'm very fond of her and I don't think we have seen the best of her and I'll take my chance with her."

Ryan: "I think Terebellum is a big player. She will be fresh coming into this race and I think that will be key. I would be disappointed if she can't put it up to the front two."

Ascot - Saturday

13:55 - Rous Stakes

Ryan: "Maid In India has form on soft ground. She ran a big race at the Curragh on her last start and I'm hoping she will be able to go through the ground well here."

Kevin: "The one I landed on was Dakota Gold who won this race last year. His record on soft ground is good and he will have his ideal conditions here."

14:30 - Cumberland Lodge Stakes

Kevin: "This looks a good opportunity for Logician although I would be wary of the conditions that he will face here. I think Morando will give him the most to do. This horse loves soft conditions, the softer the better for him and if the favourite doesn't handle the ground he is best placed to take advantage."

15:05 - bet365 Challenge Cup Handicap

Ryan: One at a bigger price that I like is Orbaan. He should get a nice toe into the race with plenty of pace around him and I think it will be run to suit him.

15:40 - John Guest Racing Bengough Stakes

Kevin: "I'm really looking forward to seeing Cape Byron back in action, but I would be waiting until closer to the race and seeing how strong he is in the betting before backing him."
