There should be better to come from him now handicapping and a bold showing is expected.

Tommy's Oscar -14:25 Musselburgh

A winning pointer who had shown plenty to finish second in a bumper at Newcastle in November, Tommy's Oscar made a winning start to life over hurdles at Sedgefield last month, opening his account with a bit to spare, and he followed that up back at Newcastle last time, defying a penalty with more in hand than the result suggests. He looks a good prospect and clearly isn't short on speed. There should be more to come from him now sent handicapping.

Not The Cablis - 15:30 Musselburgh

A winner over hurdles at this venue a year ago, Not The Cablis stepped up markedly on his chasing debut to finish runner up here last month, briefly looking to have the winner's measure between the final two fences, only to be headed on the run-in. Not The Chablis can race off the same mark here and a reproduction of that form should see him difficult to beat.
