Kingsholm - 16:25 Kempton
Kingsholm was well backed making his handicap debut at Wolverhampton last month, and he duly showed improved form to get off the mark in taking fashion, always going well and quickly asserting once hitting the front. He was again sent off at short odds over this course and distance last time and for a long way looked ahead of his revised mark, coaxed to the front but just unable to respond to one coming late with horses in between, perhaps blindsided. There should be more to come from Kingsholm and he is taken to get back to winning ways.
May Night - 17:30 Kempton
May Night made little impact in his first three outings, but he showed his first form to get off the mark at this course nine days ago, proving well suited by the step up to seven furlongs on his all-weather debut, staying on to lead inside the final furlong and keeping on well, well on top at the finish. The timefigure for that race adds a bit of substance to the performance, and in truth, the improvement was no real surprise given May Night's looks and pedigree. He is well-in under a penalty here and has a good chance of following up.
Lismore - 20:00 Kempton
Lismore has shown plenty of improvement since being stepped up in trip, landing her third win from her last four races at Wolverhampton last time, having things sewn up early in the straight and looking patently back on the up after a month off. The manner of that victory suggests there could be still more to come from Sir Mark Prescott's charge, and she looks well treated quickly turned out under a penalty.
