Common Practice went with little promise on his first two starts but showed much more when hitting the frame at Listowel last time and is just the type that will progress again now entering nurseries for shrewd connections. He started at 125/1 last time, so clearly not much was expected, but he stayed on in eye-catching fashion under a hands-and-heels ride. He will stay further than this in time, but an opening mark of 77 is workable, and he is worth chancing with improvement forthcoming.

He wasn't disgraced in first-time cheekpieces (off today) at Newcastle last time and this well-bred colt should remain competitive having dipped to a handy-looking mark.
