It's no surprise the double-figure prices on Jetara have been taken this morning but while I think she's now about the right price, there's a mare at a much bigger price whose chance I think is being underestimated by the market.

Feddans is having her sixth start in a bumper having run in five of them two seasons ago and she showed a good and consistent level of ability in them.

On her debut at Naas, she shaped with promise when finishing second behind Take Tea and ran well again at Cork when given far too much to do behind Betty Zane who got clear early on and stayed there.

There was a change of tactics at Punchestown on Feddans' third start when she was ridden much handier and that resulted in victory, finding plenty under pressure and seeing off the challenge of Mi Lighthouse from the start of the home straight.

Feddans found Grade 2 company at the Dublin Racing Festival a bit too tough next time but she ran respectably in finishing seventh and while she was a bit disappointing on her final start of the season, it might be that she ended up on the worst part of the track on the inside in the straight and she may have had enough for the season.

She returned last season over hurdles in a strong maiden hurdle at Clonmel and was duly outclassed behind Dinoblue, running as though in need of the run a little too. She built on that next time at Punchestown over 2m4f when not quite seeing out the trip behind Limerick Lace.

I think the ability she showed in bumpers gives her a better chance than the market suggests and she could be favourably positioned if they go back to riding her prominently as there's not much obvious early pace in this race.

The forecast rain is also a positive for her chance and it may not be ideal for a few of her rivals.

It might be that others will have more improvement in them and be a level above her or that she will be in need of the run on her first start after 256 days off but I think she's too big given the ability she's shown and any 25/1 or bigger appeals.
