Friday's Most Backed: 10/1 into 10/3 move over at Chepstow

Today's most backed horse is Saint Segal who runs in the 2m Handicap Hurdle 14:55 Chepstow. Having opened up as big as 10/1, he's now the 10/3 favourite on the Betfair Sportsbook to prevail.

This four-year-old has low mileage, and having won two juvenile hurdles last season, and he returned with two very respectable handicap runs at today's track in Grade 1 company as well as Ffos Las.

Saint Segal benefits from 8lb weight-for-age allowance on his chasing debut this afternoon and if his jumping holds up, he holds every chance.

Even if Saint Segal's jumping holds up, he will have to bring his A game in order to beat Hititi and Marta Des Mottes.

Hititi is searching for a hattrick after two consecutive wins at Fontwell and Exeter, and this lightly raced five-year-old could well improve on his chasing debut.

However, he's now on 10lb higher mark and Betfair punters believe this could well and truly catch him out.

Marta Des Mottes has won over fences, winning just seven days ago at Southwell over 2m - storming clear by 27 lengths.

Yet this is a much deeper race and under a 7lb penalty, this could be a potential banana skin for the five-year-old.

Away from the top of the market, there are four previous course winners: Hatos, The Grey Falco, Rock Of Star and Treasure Dillon - none of which have been particularly fancied this morning, but it's worth keeping an eye on these for any market support closer to the off.

However, Saint Segal has caught Betfair punters attention this morning and he has been well backed to win on his chasing debut.
