Exeter Nap - 15:00 - Back Snipe
Snipe went the wrong way over hurdles last season after winning his maiden at Ffos Las, but he created a good impression when making a successful chasing debut at Southwell a few weeks ago.
He was up against a rival who was in pursuit of a four-timer, but Snipe readily brushed that one aside, cruising two and three-quarter lengths clear after being produced to lead between the final two fences.
This former pointer has more to offer over fences and a 6 lb rise in the weights should not be enough to stop him following up in a race largely contested by more exposed types.
Exeter Next Best - 16:00 - Back Goshhowposh
We've yet to see the best of Goshhowposh but he showed enough in a few starts last season to suggest that an opening handicap mark of 117 could prove lenient.
He caught the eye when runner-up on debut at Chepstow and when third at Uttoxeter when last seen in December, doing his best work at the finish after taking time to get going, and he remains with the potential to do better.
