Timeform pick out the three best bets from Wincanton on Thursday...
Supreme Escape - 13:50 Wincanton
Supreme Escape left his chasing debut well behind when opening is account at the second attempt with a bit in hand at Chepstow last month. In form terms, he easily surpassed the level he reached over hurdles, and that was despite the trip still being on the short side. This much longer trip will be very much in his favour now and, effective in testing conditions, there is plenty to like about his chances.
Generation Gap - 14:50 Wincanton
Generation Gap remains a maiden, but had some good efforts to his name over hurdles, and left the impression he would come on a fair bit for his chasing debut at Huntingdon last month. That race was won by the reopposing Premiumaccess, but Generation Gap was considerably shorter in the betting that day, so clearly better was expected. Jonjo O'Neill remains in good form so it could be worth chancing Generation Gap to build on that initial experience.
Cyclop - 15:50 Wincanton
Cyclop is now a 10-year-old, but arrives in top form having won three of his last four starts, and he won with any amount in hand under this jockey at Plumpton last week. He escapes a penalty for that success due to the conditions of the race, so makes plenty of appeal able to race from the same mark. Cyclop has switched to Matt Sheppard since, and can make a winning start for the yard.
