Beacon Edge - 15:40 Punchestown
Beacon Edge did nothing but progress over hurdles last season, making a winning start in a maiden over course and distance, and narrowly beaten up in grade both of his subsequent starts. This looks a good opening for him on his return to action with Noel Meade in form and he should prove hard to beat.
Robinnia - 16:50 Punchestown
Robinnia didn't even start favourite despite it being a weak bumper she made her debut in, but she made no mistake, looking a good prospect as she won by five and a half length. With that in mind, he hurdling debut was somewhat disappointing here three weeks ago, but she's worth another chance to build on the impression she created at Sligo the time before.
Legacy Thor - 17:20 Punchestown
The one who appeals most is Legacy Thor, who showed plenty of promise in a couple of maiden hurdles in 2019, latterly finishing fourth under testing conditions at Down Royal on Boxing Day. He will appreciate the forecast quicker surface here (won a bumper on good ground last spring) and gets the nod ahead of Jimmy Jimmy. Bumper winner Rosgalme and Minella Escape are other to consider.
