Tashim - 14:45 Listowel

Tashim showed ability amidst greenness on debut at Navan last month, hanging left over a furlong out but staying on, nearest at the finish. In truth, that race has been something of a mixed bag subsequently, a next time out winner emerging, but plenty of disappointing performances also. This race is hardly a strong-looking contest however, and with further improvement anticipated, Tashmin gets the vote to open his account at the second time of asking.

Sayo - 15:55 Listowel

A useful hurdler, Sayo ran well back on the Flat after four months off at the Curragh in June, unlucky not to win in fact, not getting the clear run the winner did and forced to switch, finishing well. He failed to improve on that when eighth in a handicap hurled at Galway the following month, too high in the weights in that sphere, but he made the most of a good opportunity dropped into a minor event to regain the winning thread over the smaller obstacles at Kilbeggan last time, winning easily. He is clearly in good heart at present and is a big player now returned to the level.

Yankee Stadium - 17:05 Listowel

14 months after making an encouraging debut, Yankee Stadium very much caught the eye on his reappearance at Navan earlier this month, likely to have been bang there guaranteed a clear run, eventually getting the gap in the final 50 yards, finishing full of running. He remains open to further improvement and is one to be interested in on the back of that effort.
