Timeform pick out the three best bets at Dundalk on Monday...
"...she should have more to offer in first-time cheekpieces..."
Timeform on Smile At Me
Shackleton Hero - 13:45 Dundalk
Shackleton Hero shaped well over this course and distance on debut last month, and is excused his next start on turf when seemingly bogged down by heavy ground. He matched his debut form returned to this venue last time, though, just beaten by a superior rival. This doesn't look the strongest race of its type and Shackleton Hero is expected to go one place better now.
St George's Head - 15:30 Dundalk
St George's Head belatedly opened his account in first-time cheekpieces over this course and distance last time, looking suited by the switch to more aggressive tactics. The handicapper has hit him with a 9 lb rise for that success, but he did it well that day and makes the most appeal in this field. Declan McDonogh, who rides this track very well, takes the ride again and a bold bid is expected.
Smile At Me - 16:00 Dundalk
Smile At Me is a typically well-bred filly for connections and has shaped well in a couple of heavy-ground maidens earlier this month, not seen to best effect when doing best of those who raced from off the pace at the Curragh last time. The switch to a sounder surface should suit Smile At Me and she should have more to offer in first-time cheekpieces.
