Settle For Bay had slipped a fair way in the weights since winning the Royal Hunt Cup back in 2018, and, back up in trip, he confirmed the promise he had shown in his previous run when regaining the winning thread over this course and distance last month, having to wait for the gap early in the straight before staying on to lead well inside the final furlong. He wasn't seen to best effect when seventh over seven furlongs here last time, a wide berth leaving him poorly placed, but he travelled is if still in form and looks well worth another chance.

Sideshow Bob - 18:00 Dundalk

Sideshow Bob shaped as if still in good form after seven weeks off when third over this course and distance recently, still with plenty to do two furlongs out but keeping on well, taking third late on. Emphatic was the winner on that occasion, and the two reoppose here, but given Sideshow Bob is 7 lb better off this time around, she gets the vote to reverse the form.
