Capodanno - 13:35 Clonmel
Capodanno shaped with plenty of promise when finishing second on his sole start for Mlle D. Mele in France, and made a solid start for new connections when placing in an amateurs maiden at Clonmel last time. He was strong in the market on his first start for 13 months, and still held every chance approaching the final flight where an untidy jump didn't help his cause. There should be plenty of improvement in him now and he is strongly fancied to open his account.
Stand Off - 14:35 Clonmel
Stand Off showed ability in bumpers and has made a bright start to his hurdling career. He attracted support on his hurdling debut over course and distance in November, but he was hindered by a couple of late errors, leaving the impression he would learn from the experience. That theory came true and Stand Off landed the odds comfortably dropped to two miles back at this track last time, an error-free round of jumping coupled with a more positive ride seeing him to good effect. There should be more to come from him now and he is taken to follow up in what looks a deeper event.
Rock On Barney - 15:35 Clonmel
Rock On Barney is now a 10-year-old, but he is thriving this season, winning three of his last five starts, and it could be worth forgiving his latest start at Limerick where he was ultimately pulled up. He was never going a beat that day, so clearly her wasn't 100 percent on the day, and he is the type who can quickly bounce back.
