Unfortunately Southwell's All-Weather card has been abandoned this evening due to the adverse weather in the area.
There will be no update to today's double.
We're back at Southwell and like yesterday's angle we can explore the each-way possibilities - and we started well with Anif's third at a big price, but Liv Lucky took a massive drift in the betting just before the off and switched from hold up tactics to running as if the hounds of hell were chasing - which didn't work.
A very good 6f 0-98 at Southwell this evening looks the best race on the card and looking at the betting this morning it's also wide open with the favourite at 11/26.50.
Sommelier runs from top weight and 98 but he's a horse I had on my radar in the summer as I put him up as a Saturday bet for the antepost column (subsequent non-runner) and he is very much in the unexposed category as one of the three-year-olds in the race.
He looked a progressive horse on the All-Weather last winter when he bagged a pair of novice wins at Chelmsford and Kempton - both by big margins so it was no surprise he was handed a mark of 96 for his handicap debut at Newcastle last January.
With his All-Weather record of 2-4, his trainer Marco Botti has kept him away from racing with a break of 151 days and he potentially could be looking at some of the decent races this winter after a less than arduous turf campaign.
He ran against Big Evs with great credit in the summer when second in a Listed race at York, and the fourth in that was rated 101 so a replication of that run back to 6f (a more suitable trip) looks ideal.

Kaiya Fraser has had a fine couple of months and the jockey's claim in turn has gone to 3lbs and he's struck up a good relationship with Harry Eustace's filly Jazzy Angel.
Her record on the All-Weather is 3-8 with one at Southwell and two at Wolverhampton and while she is in here against a host of previous course and distance winners, she looks to be a little overpriced as she goes into a stronger race.
The first-time cheekpieces worked last time for a Wolves win, and she achieved that with a fine Fraser ride from a wide draw. Fraser and Jazzy Angel were a bit keen on the outside but he made a decisive move to kick on and make the running, and while pestered for the lead throughout, had enough to hold on.
She's only up 2lbs and can still operate in the 0-70 range, and with course winning form and the potential to make the running from stall one, she holds a chance in a tough race.
There are four places on the Sportsbook so I am tempted to play both for the double.
