Off to Dundalk for the late card on Friday and Play It Again Zaam has an opportunity to build on his best run for a while off an attractive mark in the 0-65.
He was a massive price last time over CD and finished third from a poor draw, although the draw again is far from kind out in 13. But as always at Dundalk, it does present the chance to tack over to the stands' side.
The 4yo goes through trainers like hot dinners with a number of stable switches, but more importantly he has dropped 21lbs and the run last time showed he isn't a total lost cause.
Jockey Cian MacRedmond can claim and he's a jock I like when he's on the Ado McGuinness runners, and in a wide open race, he was supported this morning on the Sportsbook from 13/27.50 into 11/26.50.
A couple of interesting runners line up in the following second division over 1m and Feature This has gone the other way in the betting, or had done this morning from 4/15.00 to 6/17.00, and that makes her each-way material.
She didn't quite see out her race over CD last time, but the winner came from a long way back off the pace and won going away.
Previously she gained a win and second over CD and the 1m is her best trip, even though her trainer has toyed with going up in distance.
She beat hardy veteran Skontonovski in November in a race where they didn't go too hard, and perhaps a less than onerous gallop will play to her strengths.
