Alan Dudman tips two at Dundalk on Wednesday in a 66/167.00 double
Trainer Ado McGuinness has had five placed and two wins from his last eight runners (all at Dundalk) and Nikki Swango has dropped down to such a low mark she has to be worth a shot in the 13:50 7f Handicap today.
Her form figures read poorly, but she won't be alone on that front in this company and there wasn't an awful lot to glean in terms of a positive last time when she was thrashed at the Curragh.
That was her first start for McGuinness since leaving Natalia Lupini and she dropped away rapidly, but the return to Dundalk might spark some improvement.
She won her Maiden here last term under a prominent ride and actually ran pretty well on her first start of the turf season at Naas back in the spring in a far more valuable and deeper contest than today's. She was also checked in the run and was only beaten by a length off a mark of 79.
Nikki Swango is down to her lowest mark ever of 65 and she's drawn well for a positive ride here. And note the Dundalk fields seem to be shunning the stands' side rail these days.
Little Keilee has been a big old mover on the Sportsbook for the 16:10 - and she's been backed from a massive 14/115.00 into 17/29.50 in what looks another winnable race, open, but winnable.
She hasn't won for quite a while and there are one or two bright spots from her turf campaign if you look hard enough - and one spot included a second at Roscommon over the extended 7f.
The selection is another that could well enjoy the return to the All-Weather and her last victory (which seems a long time ago now) was back in December over 7f at Dundalk with a front-running victory.
Little Keilee has a great draw in two for the same tactics and she's 2lb lower than the previous win off 67 today.
