Trainer William Knight has hit a mini-run of form with three winners and a second from his last seven runners and Knight has a fine placed record with his runners down the years at Wolves - he chimes in with a 38% placed strike-rate.
Regal Envoy is a fairly strong candidate as an unexposed sort on the All-Weather away from his favourite Bath, and he's fresh off a win last time.
The 4yo scored over CD recently with a typical front-running performance under tonight's jockey Brandon Wilkie, and a repeat of that performance might see him hard to catch, although market rival Intervention likes to be up there too - but he's difficult to weigh up at the moment as he's been over a variety of trips.
The selection is reasonably consistent, which might be enough here as the field contains a few horses that don't look particularly well handicapped.
Regal Envoy might not have tons in hand himself, but I like the way Wilkie booted him into the straight from the turn over CD last time and if he can get a good early position from stall seven, we should get a run for our money.
Richard Fahey's 2yo filly South Parade makes her first start in handicap company on Tuesday night, and based on her run at Beverley last time, might out-perform her odds at 13/27.50. She looked a little overpriced when the markets first went up, and this looks open to boot.
She's bred to make her mark as a juvenile, but has been somewhat of a slow-burner after her first two underwhelming starts.
However, there was a bit more at Beverley last time in heavy conditions, and the first and second in the race came from good yards with decent pedigrees.
She's sticking to 5f here, and I'd like to see those positive tactics from the Westwood again here under Oisin Orr. although once again, the draw isn't great in nine, but we take that on the chin.
Her sire Invincible Army hasn't had many runners at Wolverhampton - five in fact, and while none have won, three have placed at 60%. And her dam is a winner on the AW. Early days and all that!
