Back Musical Artist @ 13/2
Cold Case and Queen For You helped yesterday's column to a 32/1 Sportsbook double, and I am sure we'll be seeing both at the Royal Ascot meeting after their successful trials. Queen For You could turn out to be a high-class filly given her pedigree, and to quote a line from the Handmaid's Tale; she certainly had a magical presence.
Cold Case incidentally is 8/1 on the ante-post market for the Commonwealth Cup.
We have some terrific racing to look forward to at Newmarket tomorrow, but Thursday can hopefully keep the week going with a decent card at Salisbury.
I'm going for Harry Eustace's handicap debutante Musical Tribute in the 14:10 6f 0-75, a filly with a good sprinting pedigree hailing from the Lochsong family, including the owner Jeff Smith's No Nonsense - who achieved a rating of near 100.
She looked to still be learning in her first two juvenile starts but showed a bit of ability over 7f at Lingfield in March this year, although moving to the far side at the track pinned to the rail was a bad move.
The front two never left first and second and the winner Sceptic had a fair turn of foot.
She didn't quite convince over the 7f, and given her fast pedigree, it's a good move coming back down to 6f for her handicap debut.
Harry Eustace is 6-15 in the last month at 40% and a level stakes profit of +14.03. Rookie Eustace has only ever had four runners at Salisbury - and two of them have won at 50%. He seems more successful than me at Salisbury, as I once got rejected from their Art College.
Drop back to 1m6f looks ideal for Icon

Back Easter Icon @ 7/2
The presence of a Harry Fry makes the price for the second selection, as Fry's horses are never exactly far from the head of the betting, and Monjules looks a horse to take on for the trainer as the market leader.
Easter Icon at 7/2 appeals more for the 1m6f Handicap, as it looks a poor race and Jack Channon's stayer comes into the contest off the back of two better runs (and a win) on the All-Weather at Southwell.
His victory last time over 2m could give him the stamina edge albeit the race turned into a bit of a dash, but he comes back down in distance today, and as a possible front-runner, the 1m6f could be ideal.
He's by the much underrated stallion Sixties Icon, whose stock stay sound, genuine and stay, and this race might not take a lot of winning.
