Support this morning for Anif on the Sportsbook was a positive from 10/111.00 into 15/28.50 but now he is back to his original price and that allows us to go each-way with the three places in a wide open 7f Handicap.
The veteran has seen better days as a ten-year-old but he's still capable of winning - highlighted by two wins in the summer on the turf at Yarmouth off 50 and 53. One of those came over 1m and that's never a bad thing switching to Southwell with its long finish and he could be primed for a busy winter with a 97-day break from July to October.
He's raced a couple of times after that break and was seen 13 days ago finishing well beaten on soft ground at Redcar but he should fare better switching back to Southwell.
Anif is certainly well handicapped off his basement mark as he won last year off 73 and he's now 18lb lower. Expect him to be held up too from off the pace.

Trainer Roy Bowring at Southwell can hopefully turn up trumps with his Liv Lucky today in the 19:15 5f Handicap and Bowring's numbers hold up well at the track with a pretty impressive 18% strike-rate in five seasons with 27 winners. He also shows a profit in that run to level stakes of +22.28.
Liv Lucky landed her first ever victory on the All-Weather on her 25th start last time with the drop in trip to 5f working the oracle for the mare.
She previously had been racing over 7f and 1m with little success, but the sprint panned out for her well last time with the extra stamina as they'd gone too hard with a race finishing speed of 96%.
Liv Lucky looked beaten at the halfway point and was not in the ideal Southwell position away from the stands' side, but she rallied strongly and produced the quickest final sectional.
Her ability to stay strongly off a fast pace will be a big plus here and she might be worth upgrading a little from her win last time as she was furthest away from the rail, and that's never an easy thing to do at the track.
Bowring can add to his numbers and she's a fair price at 13/27.50.
