Leg #1 - 14:44, Salisbury: Kisskodi to Finish Top 3
NON-RUNNER
Kisskodigained his fifth turf success when a comfortable 2.5L winner at Chepstow eight days ago with George Wood aboard. George now has a 33% strike rate (2-6) when paired with the selection. The Harry Eustace-trained gelding has three wins at this level (from nine runs) and looked to have plenty in hand at Chepstow. Despite a 7lb penalty, he will be hard to stop if in the same mood, out again quickly.
Stat: Kisskodi has won both starts on soft ground.
Dual course-and-distance winner, Oh Cecelia, has been thriving since her switch to local trainer Ken Condon -- only finishing out of the money once in five starts -- including wins at this trip and Naas. The Starspangledbanner filly was just denied, when a head second in a Naas Group 3, and has twice placed from three goes in Listed company.
Stat: Has three wins (from 7) and a 43% strike rate at today's journey.
Primo Lara bounced back to form when a neck second under Jonny Peate at Nottingham last time. That was his third run back after six months, during which he received wind surgery. He remains nicely treated at the weights, having previously won off a 6lb higher mark, in a class 3 York handicap. A repeat of his Nottingham effort could be enough to take this, and he looks a key player.
Stat: Both career wins have been over the trip (1m2f).
Perfect Your Craft won three times for Ralph Beckett and was making her seasonal return, for Paddy Twomey, when keeping on well for a nose second under Billy Lee, in a decent Curragh handicap last month. She will need to improve for her first foray into Group company, but this progressive-looking Mastercraftsman filly has winning form over the trip and is open to plenty of improvement in first-time cheekpieces.
Stat: Two of her three wins have been on good ground.
