Daily Racing Multiple: Two Hexham chances can make the day pay

Alan is hoping Well Educated keeps his 100% record at Hexham today

Alan Dudman had his 10th single winner yesterday in the last 11 days and he is off to Hexham in search of an 8/1 double for Tuesday in the north east...

The Dapper Don won't go home empty-handed

Back Bird On Wire @ 2.8815/8 in the 16:52 at Hexham

The good run continued with another single winner yesterday, although Little Jessture as a non-runner blew the idea and purpose of a short-priced double that would have paid around 4/1. A winner is a winner as they say, and that's now 10 singles that have scored in the last 11 days.

Hexham gets the nod for our two today and there's rain and thunderstorms on the gloomy horizon. Hopefully the bees will be staying somewhere else. And sheep.

Bird On The Wire could be ideal for this race over 3m and his second in the spring at Sedgefield over 3m3f in soft conditions could give him the stamina edge - and he won't mind the showers. In fact, it should aid his chances.

Sedgefield form always translates well to Hexham for me, and while he was beaten last time at Bangor, and indeed has only won once in 16 outings, he is solid with Theo Gillard claiming some weight despite the slight rise up to 102.

Well Educated the smart play for the Bewleys

Back Well Educated @ 3.259/4 in the 17:25 at Hexham

Part of the Go North Sea Pigeon Series awaits for the second bet, and Well Educated was strong in the betting on the Sportsbook last night into this morning from 11/4 into 9/4 and I like his chances as a previous CD winner.

He ran a fine race in the Cumbria Crystal Cup last time at Cartmel and was brave in that too against a progressive winner in Johnston's Blue.

And like so many of my Hexham selections, he does stay further with a win at 2m4f, so I don't worry at all about the drop down to 2m. The ground isn't a problem either considering his form on good and a soft ground second in bumper at the start of his career.

This is a drop in grade from 0-130 level and he's 100% at Hexham with a 2-2 record.
