"He stays 1m4f well and I expect Cian MacRedmond to try and adopt the forcing tactics again, or at least up there from stall 16 - which would be a repeat of his CD win in this race last year."

Can Solar breeze to a victory down in trip
Back Solar Breeze @ 4.03/1 in the 19:00 at Roscommon
Trainer Sheila Lavery is enduring something of a quiet spell and her Toriangel caught my eye in the week with the way she travelled at Leopardstown - there will certainly be a race for her dropping down in trip. Hopefully this is the race for Lavery's Solar Breeze.
The 3yo filly was given a mark of 83 following a good second to the potentially smart Ezine at Naas earlier in the season, and she wasn't beaten too far in her handicap debut at the Curragh in May.
A poor run followed but she returned to form with a good effort in a Curragh maiden on her latest start. That came over 1m and she travelled quite nicely down the straight alongside the eventual winner - who looked a stronger stayer at the trip.
She won't mind the slight reduction in trip and the forecast rain could be beneficial. I expect her to travel nicely again as she hit 1.412/5 in-running at Naas.
Drawn to Magnetic to pull off a repeat win
Back Magnetic North @ 11.010/1 in the 20:30 at Roscommon
It wouldn't be an Irish preview without an Ado McGuinness handicapper, and Magnetic North fits the bill at a double figure price now he's down to a reasonable mark.
The 7yo won earlier in the season over 1m5f at Navan under a positive ride from Adam Caffrey, but since then he's gone off too hard from the front and has been found out in a couple of stronger races.
He stays 1m4f well and I expect Cian MacRedmond to try and adopt the forcing tactics again, or at least up there from stall 16 - which would be a repeat of his CD win in this race last year. He was drawn out in 15 on that occasion.
Again, he could be a runner that might appreciate a bit of rain, so hopefully the forecast is spot on, but he is well handicapped these days and certainly an each-way price. You can also play two in the same racing using the Sportsbook multiple option with both to place.
